“Supporting others and seeing them thrive is the most wonderful thing. There’s space for everyone to bloom and grow, and I’m determined to do what I can to help my industry peers on their way.”
Meet Stephanie Owen, the mind behind Ask Steph
Over the last 20 years, Stephanie has been refining her own practice, running two successful businesses SO Podiatry and SO Pilates and mastering the art of maintaining exceptional relationships with her staff, her local community and her loyal clients.
With her wealth of experience and unwavering passion, Steph knew it was time to start sharing her experience with others, with a mission to guide and steer clinicians in the right direction as they navigate the healthcare industry and running a lucrative business.
“When it comes to running and sustaining your healthcare business, there is so much more to it than understanding your service. You must have the right systems in place for success, you must give your clients a service rooted in compassion and ease, you must consistently develop your skills and build the practice that supports every client in the best way possible. I want to be the person that can stand beside you as you navigate the journey. I want to bring you the answers in a more efficient and easily-understood way and I want you to not have to learn from mistakes, but instead, learn from someone who has walked the path before you.”

Tried, tested and totally trusted
Over the last 20 years, Stephanie has gained a wealth of experience across numerous aspects of the healthcare industry.
Steph worked within the NHS and in the education sector to begin with. This time not only brought Steph an abundance of experience and knowledge, but also inspired her to bring healthcare excellence to the people that need it most.
Since then Steph developed her own business SO Podiatry from the ground up and has quadrupled her turnover in just three years. This year, Steph has established a new business, SO Pilates to bring clients extra support for rehabilitation and with this incredible experience she has been invited to feature in numerous articles and publications to include, Runners World, Patient Access, The Times and is featured as BBC Hereford/Worcestor’s resident podiatrist.
In 2023, Steph was invited to appear as keynote speaker for the Royal College of Podiatry National Conference.
“I can honestly say, I truly love my work and feel deeply passionate about what I do. The greatest part is that I feel equally passionate about others succeeding to the same level and beyond. The most important thing for our industry is providing the best healthcare to the community we serve. When our businesses are thriving, our systems are easy and things flow with consistency, everyone wins. I have navigated the journey, and now I’m here for you.”

Steph’s hope for you
“My hope for every client that works alongside me, is that they feel safe and free to ask the questions they’ve always wanted to ask.”
“That they’ll feel supported and understood as they navigate the clinical practice journey. That they’ll feel brave and courageous as they take new steps and run towards growth and that they’ll see real-world results that impact their world, their team’s world and their local community. The Ask-Steph coaching journey is made for clinicians who have an open mind, are unafraid to try something different and who can trust in the wisdom of someone who’s been down this path before. My mission is to empower you, so that you can be the change you wish to see in your business.”
